Pierre Bertrand draws on his extensive business management, finance, and promotional experience in his current leadership role with Pfizer, Inc. as the Regional Marketing Director for the South. With nearly 10 years as an integral executive team member at the pharmaceutical corporation, Pierre Bertrand devises and executes regional plans that affect RBU stakeholders and positively impact the $2.8 billion business. Bertrand's marketing initiatives are tailored to the region's market needs while meeting corporate objectives.

Prior to Regional Marketing Director, Pierre Bertrand served for a year as Pfizer's Director of POWERS Regional Strategy. Pierre Bertrand leveraged his marketing skills to implement several campaigns, such as the Celebrex co-pay discount card allocation program. At the start of his career with Pfizer, Pierre Bertrand spent five years as part of their Canadian organization as Manager of Business Finance and Marketing Manager. In the latter role, he led two Canadian National Market Research Projects, created national strategies for six brands, and also worked on the growth plans for some of the largest key accounts in the country. Pierre Bertrand also developed the 2003-2005 Operating Plan and played a key role in the Pharmacia Integration. Bertrand then was promoted to Worlwdie Headquarters in New York as Pfizer Animal Health's Senior Marketing Manager of U.S. Cattle Biologicals, with revenues of more than $180 million. Pierre Bertrand innovated and relaunched a planning tool to help veterinarians better serve their animal patients and earned several awards for his brand development campaigns.

Pierre Bertrand began his career in the industry with Allegiance Healthcare after receiving his MBA in Finance and Operations/Manufacturing from the University of Windsor and his BA in Economics from Concordia University. Apart from his Pfizer duties, Pierre Bertrand enjoys training in Jiu Jitsu at North Texas MMA (www.NTMMA.com), and spending time with his lovely wife and two girls.
